Every 110 minutes a baby is born with cardiac defects. This diagnosis is called Congenital Heart Disease (CHD). CHD is the most common and most fatal of all birth defects. Complex defects often require immediate surgery with multiple open-heart surgeries within a lifetime.

CHD families spend nearly $200,000 on their child's healthcare needs from birth to age 5 (Additional Ventures Study). Care is required for life, requiring a continual balance between paying the bills and meeting a child's needs.
All of this can cause depression, anxiety and PTSD for parents (up to 50%).
The Victoria Ciara Foundation exists to provide wrap-around services for these families.

Your donation of $110 will honor the life of a brand-new baby who was just born with CHD. Every dollar will support the baby and their family through VCF Financial Assistance.
